3. Plan Your Steps

Once you have set your goals, plan your steps. If you want to lose weight, do not look at the bigger picture. Look at what you can do for yourself this week. If you succeed, move on to the next week. If you want to seek out a career, consider how long it will take you to reach that career and what steps you need to take toward that goal. Do you need to revise your resume?

What are the best routes to consider in applying for jobs? How do you want to be seen by a potential employer?

Attitude is the key throughout your performance. Improve your behavior to find the first steps to take toward your goals. Decide what challenges you will face when you create your goals. Throw aside procrastination and the temptation to quit. Remind yourself of the end goal and commit to achieving it. Do not forget that you are the only one who can make this happen; therefore, you are the only one who can stop the process. Make it happen!
