7 Things to Embrace about Your Womanhood ...

By Holly • Mar 12, 2015

You should be proud to be a woman, despite what shape, size, or weight you are. What your body looks like doesn't matter--all that matters is how proud you are of it. You're going to have it for the rest of your life, so you better get used to loving it! Here are a few amazing things to embrace about your womanhood:

1. Your Breasts

Stop worrying about being too big or too small to look pretty. Your body is perfect just the way it is. It doesn't matter whether one breast is slightly bigger than the other or if your nipples are a certain tint. Every woman's body is beautiful just the way it is. Stop comparing yourself to others and you'll be a whole lot happier.

2. Your Lady Parts

Nobody really talks about your vagina, which is silly, because it's an important part of your body. It doesn't matter if you keep it smooth down there or have hair. It doesn't matter if your lower lips are large or tiny. As long as it's STD free, embrace it!

3. Your Face without Makeup

Even if you love wearing makeup, that doesn't mean that you have to have it on constantly. You should feel comfortable being bare, because your face is just as beautiful without makeup as it is covered in products. You can keep wearing your makeup in public, but try to start loving your natural look by keeping your face clean when you're home for the day.

4. Your Hair

Men can get away with bald spots and a completely shaved head. Even though women aren't as lucky, you should still love your hair, even if it's thin and oily. Feel free to dye it, straighten it, and add extensions to it, so long as you appreciate what it looks like without all those added items. You're beautiful, even without locks like a model.

Embrace the vibrant colors and cozy vibes of the upcoming season with your loved ones. Planning for some memorable fall family photos is a unique way to capture the warmth and love amidst the breathtaking autumnal hues. Trust me, these keepsakes would be beyond beautiful.

5. Your Other Hair

It's no surprise to you that you grow hair in places other than your head. While it's okay to shave it all off as soon as it sprouts, you shouldn't be embarrassed about it. If your legs are a little stubbly, you shouldn't run from your boyfriend's touch. It's natural for you to grow hair, so don't be ashamed of it.

6. Your Skin

Maybe your skin is dry and flaky. Maybe it's oily and littered with pimples. Even though you're going to spread products over it in order to keep it looking the way you want, you should still appreciate what your skin does for you. It protects you and keeps you looking beautiful. Stop being so harsh on yourself for how many zits you grow and how many wrinkles pop up. It happens to everyone.

7. Your Stomach

You're probably not going to have a flat stomach forever. It's normal to gain a bit of weight as you age. Even if you stay fit, you might get pregnant. No matter how much your body changes, you should always treasure it. Stretch marks aren't that big of a deal when you have an entire body that's looking beautiful around them.

You won't reach full happiness until you're able to embrace your womanhood. So stop complaining about your body and start complimenting it! What's your favorite thing about your gorgeous body?
