1. Sleep!
One of the best ways to make yourself more productive is to make sure that you are getting enough sleep. That being said, you need to actually do it. There are no short cuts when it comes to getting enough sleep. Each person requires a different amount, but that doesn’t mean that you can do your best with only four hours each night. Figure out how much sleep will leave you feeling refreshed each morning, then make sure you get that amount.
2. Get Classical
Classical music, that is. Numerous studies have shown that any work can be maximized while listening to classical music. Check with your boss or teacher if listening to it is okay first, then go ahead and work it to something classical. Remember you are not limited to Bach or Beethoven. There are many new artists that are exciting and good.

3. Eat Full Meals
Don’t worry; I’m not suggesting that you abandon your healthy eating plan. Just make sure that you aren’t constantly hungry. Eat so that you are nourished and full. Add greens to make your meals fuller. Take nuts along with you to snack on during the day. Keeping yourself full will take the attention away from your growling stomach and onto your tasks at hand.
4. Set Little Alarms
If you are someone who is always running late, set alarms for yourself. Most phones will allow 10 or more alarms. Use them all if you have to. If you have a hard time waking up, set three alarms 2 minutes apart. Then if you take forever in to get ready, set an alarm for each task (i.e. your shower, hair, makeup, etc.). Do what you need to to be on time. Lateness is always a waste and unproductive at its best.
5. Plan out Your Day
Make a list of all that you have to do. Go through it and assign an amount of time to each task. If you follow this, you should be able to keep yourself on a schedule. You might even be able to finish things early and find more free time to unwind with.
6. Recharge
Take a nap. Go for a jog. Do what you need to and get your ideas flowing again. Taking a step to relax can actually help you in the long run. Rest and relaxation can improve your motor skills. It can spike your creativity too.
7. Remind Yourself of Your Goals
Knowing where you are and where you want to end up is a great motivator. Looking at your goals can help you determine how much effort you need to put in. It can also push you to find out even more ways to be productive. You might discover that working late at night cannot begin to compare to your early morning work sessions. Just find what works best for you.
We can all stand to do more and more each day to make the best of every day. You just have to be motivated to find your motivation. Do you think these tips and tricks will help you?
