1. Relax out of It

Blushing tends to get worse and worse once you start to focus on the fact that you are blushing in the first place. The more tense and self aware you become, the brighter and more fierce the blush will be. It is easier said than done, but you really need to try to embrace that first blush and force your body to be okay with the fact that you are turning red. The quicker your body comes to terms with the blush and you don’t exacerbate it with nerves, the quicker it will die down. This is one of the easiest ways to cope with blushing.

A great way to take the embarrassment and shame out of a blush is to announce that is happening to the people you are with. The more open you are about your blushing and the effect it has on you, the less of an albatross it will be about your neck.
