However, it never gives us the closure that we're trying to achieve. Instead, it only makes things worse. It only makes us miss them more.

Even though everyone tells you that you shouldn't be afraid to talk to your crush, because he's only human, that's not the way you see him. To everyone else, he's just another face in the crowd. But to you, he's poetry. That's why it's so hard for you to treat him like you treat everybody else.

You've been told time and time again that you don't need a boyfriend in order to be happy. Even though that's the truth, you shouldn't feel guilty for wanting a hand to hold. It's only natural. You shouldn't be so worried about losing someone that you pretend they don't matter to you at all. If you do that, you're not actually protecting your heart. You're only making things harder on yourself. So be brave and let love in, even when you're scared to death of the consequences.
