From Belle to Cinderella to Sleeping Beauty to Jasmine, Snow White, and beyond, it's probably right to assume that the majority of us have grown up loving and watching Disney Princesses! They are the stars of the movies that we loved as kids, and any fan of Disney knows that that love doesn’t go away when you become an adult! In fact, there are actually more lessons in those old cartoons than you might even realise. Here are thirteen lessons we can learn from Disney Princesses.
1. Snow White
Work hard, do your chores, be helpful to others, and then those people will work equally hard to help you in your most desperate times of need!
2. Cinderella
Take the high road in the face of cruelty and unkindness, and don’t rise to their level. Stay morally above those who try to put you down, and you will always come out on top.
3. Sleeping Beauty
Patience is a virtue! No matter how long something takes, and no matter how despondent you might feel after a long time, good things always come to those who wait!
4. Ariel
You can often get caught up in your life responsibilities, but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t find the time to do the things that you love, because they keep you happy.
5. Belle
Don’t judge a book by its cover! If you can look past someone’s immediate flaws to see the light within, you will be pleasantly surprised.
6. Jasmine
Don’t listen to what society or your family think is the best thing for you, always trust your heart in matters that are deeply personal.
7. Pocahontas
your best to try to understand others, and also do your best to make others understand you. You can find common ground with almost anyone if you try hard enough.
8. Mulan
There are lots of scary things that we have to do in life, the trick is to throw yourself into them without thinking about it too much. Bravery can make up for a lot!
9. Tiana
You can’t just expect everything to be handed to you in life. You need to work incredibly hard in order to achieve your dreams!
10. Rapunzel
Don’t be afraid to rebel against your parental figures or guardians when you sense that they don’t have your best interests at heart.
11. Merida
Always try to do the right thing, even when it is hard and involves solving a problem that was sort of your fault to begin with!
12. EVE (from Wall-E!)
Never, ever give up! When you are on a path that is the right path for both you and those around you, don’t let the haters get you down!
13. Anna & Elsa
Don’t rush in to love, and always, ALWAYS get advice and feedback from friends and family before committing to any relationship that you are even 1% unsure of!
