Good day and hopefully good health to you! As we move through the year rapidly with our lives ever changing, do not forget to take a deep breath and focus on stay motivated for your New Year’s Resolutions. Stay positive and on track. People often go into the New Year strong excited but before long fall off the wagon in sticking to their resolution. Stay enthusiastic and stay motivated as I share my trainer secrets to help you stay on track. So put down that spoon, lace up your sneakers, check out my tips and head out for your workout. Every step you take will take you one step closer to your goal!

1. Assess

As you look at your resolution, ask yourself how bad you really want to achieve your goals. If you really want to be in shape, you have to get focused and take a step in the right direction. Keep your eye on the prize of bettered health, better shape and living the life you deserve! Now go ahead and get to it because you are a champion!

2. Weigh Your Priorities

After you decide how badly you want to achieve your goal, make a firm decision to commit to your goal. Then when your sweet cravings for chocolate begin you will be committed to your goal and it will be much easier to say no. Think about it, saying no to what you want at the moment is saying yes to what you want in the long run. Prioritize your life to achieve your goals!

3. Post Motivation in Visible Areas

If you have not done so yet, post inspirational messages to keep you on track to your goals and stick to it. Put a post it note on your mirror to wake up and be reminded, inside the pantry and even on the dresser next to your bed. Constant reminders will help you to keep your focus strong and stick to your resolution!

4. Sleep on Your Resolution

Write down your resolution on a piece of paper and put it under your pillow to sleep on it. Studies show when you sleep on your goal you are more likely to stick with it. It may sound silly but try it, what do you have to lose? Hopefully pounds!

5. Stick to Your Schedule

Plan out a workout and food schedule to stick to on a regular basis. Make it consistent and stay on track like you would to a doctor’s appointment. Look at this as a challenge that you will conquer every day and you will be rewarded with great results!

6. Surround Yourself with Success

Make sure your kitchen is stocked with healthy options, you have your sneakers laid out for your workout the next day and you surround yourself with success. Even set up friend workouts to bond, get some girl time and get your sweat on. If you surround yourself with success you will most certainly succeed!

7. Be Positive

Smile and put your game face on to lose weight and stick to your resolution. If you stay positive you will be on the path to weight loss and health success. Then if you have an off day, you will brush it off and get back on track. At the end of the day you win, if you get back on track and refocus for success!
