There are so many good things we should have in our lives that it’s hard to narrow it down to just seven things. We all deserve good things to come our way but when they do, sometimes we forget to appreciate them. In fact, some of us are always surrounded by good things in our lives but never realize it. So as a little reminder, here are 7 good things we should have in our lives and hopefully all you readers out there will have these plus more!

1. Conversation

One of the good things we should have in our lives is good conversation. Conversations bring about debates, tender moments, laughs, intense feelings and much more. But most importantly, good conversation brings you closer to the people around you – it’s a way to let people get to know you even if you’re not really conveying much information about yourself.

2. Company

Nothing makes for a rich life than good company. Friends and family to live, laugh and love with is the most important thing in life. Plus, good company makes for good memories, good feelings and good stories. The best part of good company is that you'll be surrounded with people who love and appreciate you.

The number one way to my heart is through my stomach. I love good food – food gives us a natural high when we eat so there’s nothing more satisfying than a meal that’s made with love or satisfies your sweet tooth. If anything, the best part of my day is when I’m eating.

Romantic relationships are elevated by many things such as respect, exclusivity, communication, trust, commitment and more. Furthermore, intimacy helps to further strengthen the bond between your partner and you. Plus, good sex is a way to connect with your partner on a deeper, emotional level.

Good music can be therapeutic – not only can it help you to relax, but it can also bring up emotions and thoughts stirring within. I love good music because it helps me to feel more focused and sometimes even more energized. My favourite, however, is when I hear a song I haven’t heard in ages because it helps me to relive memories I had forgotten about.

Good habits get you a long way in life and bad habits are hard to break. Easier said than done but it’s always important to try to form good habits like brushing your teeth before bed or holding the door open for strangers. Bad habits can sometimes relieve tension or be more fun than good habits, but there are usually negative consequences later on in life.

7. Insurance

As tedious as it sounds, it’s important to research all your insurance options when it comes to your health, dental, life, car and home insurance. Nothing is worse than being in a situation where you are not fully covered by your insurance company so you have to cover expenses out of your own pocket. Good insurance will not only benefit your bank account but will also benefit your loved ones.

There are tons of things to be grateful for like friends and family, food and great conversation. We should all be so lucky to have all of this and more in our lives at all times. What are other good things you should have in your life?
