Nothing is really impossible as long as you have the ambition, drive and hunger for what you want to achieve. If you really want something, you will find a way to get where you want to be even if it takes days, months or even years. As long as you have the will to pursue your dreams, everything will fall into place eventually. There are many life mottoes out there that try to express this idea, but in my opinion this one is short and to the point.

They say, “You are your own worst enemy” for a reason. Most of the time you are the one who is standing in the way of what you want. It might be your fear, anxiousness or hesitation to jump into something new, but it is all in your head. You might not see it, but once you do realize it you’ll realize the accuracy of this motto.

No matter what has happened in the past and no matter what choices you’ve made, don’t fret because you can’t change what has already happened. What’s done is done and you can either spend an eternity dying in regret or move on and learn from this experience. It is up to you to decide whether what happens strengthens you or slowly breaks you apart.

Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Instead, turn the fear of the unknown into curiosity, which will open new doors. Ask questions, try new things, explore the unknown and I guarantee you, this will be the best decision you have ever made!

All of us hope to see a change in this world, but not many of us act on our hopes and dreams. It is those who take action who succeed and actually see their goals turn into reality. Sometimes you have to take the reigns into your own hands to see a change you want to see in this world. It doesn’t have to be something on a grand scale, it can be as small as you would like it to be.

Not all of us were born to be outgoing, ambitious, intelligent and successful. Only some are born strong and determined, others have to work for what they want to be. Others have to fake it until it is no longer faking it. For example, if you are naturally a timid person and want to change that, push yourself to interact with others and force yourself to become more comfortable around others. Before you know it, it is as if you were that way all your life.

Conformity is a big problem in our society. Many are afraid of isolation and alienation to the point that they just follow the group mentality, which is why many lose their character. So don’t be afraid to be different or to think differently, because it takes more to face a crowd on your own and stand up for your own beliefs than to join a crowd and conform to their ideas.
