Even if you're frustrated with the direction your life is going, you can't take the anger out on yourself, and you need to find ways to be nice to yourself. If the people in your life treat you like you're worthless, don't let them convince you that it's the truth. 1 Alone Time

Don't be afraid to do things for yourself every once in a while. It's not selfish, it's healthy. Don't let that tooth that's been bothering you rot in your mouth. Treat your body the way it deserves to be treated. That means that you might have to shell out some money for doctor's appointments, but it'll be worth it. Once you're physically healthy, it'll be easier to be mentally healthy.

If you hate your reflection, don't torture yourself by staring in the mirror. If you don't like you're weight, keep the scale hidden away in the closet. That way, you can focus more on your actions that what an inanimate object tells you.

Are you always criticizing yourself, and blaming yourself for every little thing that happens in your life? If you do, you have to start training that voice to be a bit nicer. If you treated yourself the way you treat others, you'd be a lot happier.

You don't have to put others before you all the time. If you have an important meeting to get to, but your sister needs your help finishing her chemistry homework, you can ask your brother to help her. You're not in charge of everybody else's problems. As nice as it is to help others out, you need to put your issues first every once in a while if you want to lead a healthy life.

7 Basic Needs

Don't skip meals, even if you're running late for class. Don't forget to make time for your friends so that you have an active social life. Do whatever you need to do to keep yourself healthy and happy. No exceptions.
