1

They Don’t Multitask

In my opinion this is definitely one of the most important things focused people don’t do. As I’ve said before, they tend to focus their entire attention on their present task so they can boost their productivity and reach their goals. By multitasking, increase the risk of making mistakes and no matter how hard you try, you just can’t do more things at the same time, since the human brain can’t handle two things at once for a long period of time without too much trouble.

2

They Don’t Gossip

Focused people always mind their own business. They focus their attention on what they have to do and they don't gossip. They have better things to do with their time and they don’t really care how others live their lives. Everyone has the right to choose what they want to do and they should assume responsibility for their actions. Also, gossiping will only make you look jealous and insecure, so fight the urge..

3

They Don’t Procrastinate

Procrastination is a big problem for a lot of people, including myself. But whether you doubt your abilities to take care of a task or the work you have to do is unpleasant, try not to postpone it, because it will only cause you more stress and you might feel overwhelmed when you’ll realize that you have a lot of work to do and too little time to do it.

4

They Don’t Need Other People’s Approval

Focused people don’t seek validation from others and they don’t need other people’s approval. They decide what they want to do with their lives and they always assume responsibility for their actions. They also believe that what they do will advance them in life and they don’t live up to anyone’s expectations but their own. They do what makes them happy and they don’t concern themselves with other people’s opinion.

5

They Don’t Let Anything Distract Them

Highly focused people remove all distractions from their environment. They don’t want to let anything distract them from reaching their goals. They know there are a lot of things that can derail you, that can affect the quality of your work and that can make you less productive. Don’t let anything break your concentration and steal your productive time. Stick to your plans no matter what!

Famous Quotes

Men in general judge more from appearances than from reality. All men have eyes, but few have the gift of penetration.

They Don’t Make Excuses

Focused people don’t make all kinds of silly excuses for their behavior. If they make a mistake, they take responsibility for their actions and they see what they can learn from the experience. They are not afraid to fail and they don’t wait for the perfect time or for the perfect conditions to do something. If that thing it really that important to them, they just go and do it, even if they don’t feel ready or comfortable at that moment.

7

They Don’t Dwell on Their past

Try to follow their example and don’t dwell on your past! What’s done it’s done and sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you just can’t change this. You have to accept things and people for what and who they are and just try to adapt. Your desire to succeed should be stronger than your fear of failure, so learn from your mistakes and keep moving forward!

Highly focused people don’t act rashly, they don’t eschew risk, they don’t entertain disorganization, they don’t compare themselves to others and they don’t have unrealistic expectations.
