How to Cope with Losing a Loved One ...

Here's how to cope with losing a loved one.

Roses are red, violets are blue,
sugar is sweet and perhaps so are you,
But the roses have wilted, the violets are dead,
The sugar bowls empty, your wrists are stained red.
The sun isn't shining, the sky isn't clear;
there's no silver lining cause you're no longer here.
Rain keeps on pouring, there's no end in sight.
you're laying there frozen, so far from the light.
Your beauty is unreal, your smile the sun,
but time can't be turned nor your actions are undone.
The words that you wrote that only I read,
"I love you so much; please don't cry when I'm dead."
A bond that we formed, a love that ran deep,
a pain that we shared; a friend I could keep.
I wanted to hold you, wipe the tears from your eyes;
been there the moment you said your goodbye.
I want to forget but most times I don't.
I want to let go, but I know that I won't.
Tears on my face, memories burned in my head;
The roses are wilted, the violets are dead.

It hurts so bad when you lose the people you love. It burns a hole in your heart so hard to fill up. It takes some time or even your lifetime to mend, to long for those people who truly care about us. Most people who are left are the ones you are not sure but the ones who matter are gone ashore. You live one life, try your best to live well, we all go on the other side when our time comes. The loved ones that are gone with hope in peace, because we, who are here who are still living cope with what's left. When our loved ones go, a piece of us goes with them and we learn to keep going with our lives and keep them in our hearts. Memory hurts, things, events, people that remind us of the lost loved ones only makes us miss them more. There is no way of knowing how you make your wounds heal, and the pain subsides. Losing people that we love or care about is part of life, sometimes they passed you by, and sometimes we passed them by. We cherished what we have left and make the best of what we got. Love the people who love you, and tell them so, because we are all passerby, we don't know who goes first. Forgive as much as you can, no matter how hard, it helps heal your broken heart and your lost soul. You can start by forgiving yourself.
