I'm Tired of Being Shamed for Having Natural Body Hair

UPD:

This photo project was launched to empower and support women who are tired of being shamed for having natural body hair. It features women from all walks of life, embracing their natural hair and showing that it is okay to be who you are. The project was created to help women feel liberated and accepted in their own skin, regardless of what society tells them. It is a reminder that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, and that it is perfectly fine to have natural body hair. The project aims to create a community of acceptance and understanding, where women can feel safe and confident in their own skin.

I completely get the fourth picture. I am naturally tall and very skinny... Some people taught of me as being emaciated, anorexic, or even bulimic and so on. I LOVE food. I don't and never will have and eating disorder. But constantly hearing people skinny shame me calling me names like skinny lean twig was very mean, obnoxious and, annoying!!! When I was on third grade, some of the girls were going of on how I will never have a boyfriend because I was so thin or even have curves they told me to eat a cheeseburger. When I did eat people were like ur gonna vomit that afterwards or your so stupid why are you self conscious and want to gain weight, and when I wasn't eating they were like ohh let's not bother the anorexic self righteous stuck conceited girl here. WHEN WILL SKINNY SHAMING EVER STOP... AND SINCE WHEN WAS IT OKAY TO MISTREAT A SKINNY GIRL!!!!!!!

Thats a cool way to express yourself, its so artistic and deep.

@lily some people would kill to be as thin as u. People who just can't loose weight. If u r thin it is something that people should envy. U can wear tight clothes and tight jeans. U can enjoy eating whatever u like. People who say that to u r probably jealous.

I thought this was going to be about sleepy tired.

If i could add one :) I'm tired of people telling me to "just want to do things" while they don't see that I'm fighting an invisible illness (guess this one is long for on a back ;)) #LymeDissease

Love this (:

I've got one: I'm tired of people telling me how my disabled daughter is a blessing.

Oh wow what an insightful post number 8 applies to me but there is always a way around it. I just ignore it or you would get frustrated just remember the man who is doing this is also waiting for a reaction and making it your fault no actually it's them!

4 and 5 are just so true..

@Karen Weber I see what you mean that is on the verge of vein patronising when someone makes a comment like that.
