1. I Don’t Have Time
The biggest of all of the excuses you should stop making is that you have no time to dedicate to your goals. There are only twenty-four hours in a day, but you can create a schedule that works for you. If you plan out your day ahead of time, you’ll realize that you have more free time than you thought. Stop using leisure time to check your favorite websites, and start using it to your benefit.
2. I Have Enough Time
You can study for a big test now or you can wait until the night before. It might feel like you have all the time in the world to get something done, but days go by quickly. Stop procrastinating and accomplish your goals when you can. There’s nothing wrong with being ahead of the game. If anything, it’ll reduce your stress.

3. It’ll Never Happen
Why try when you feel like failure awaits you? You have to stop thinking so negatively, and start thinking about all of the good things that could happen with a little effort. Hard work can help you reach places that you never thought were possible. You have to try. The worst that can happen is that you fail and you try again.
4. People like You
Don’t ever tell yourself that good things don’t happen to ‘people like you.’ Good things happen to everyone as long as they're willing to work for them. There are tons of celebrities and rich business owners that were once everyday people like you. They had to work hard to achieve their success, just like you do. So don’t ever think that the odds aren’t in your favor.
5. Someone’s Better Qualified
There’s always going to be someone more skilled than you are. However, that doesn’t mean that you should stop trying to accomplish your goals. Don’t be scared to apply for an internship or enter a contest, because you don’t think you’re the most qualified. Multiple applicants may be accepted, or the judges could see something in you that no one else has. Don’t think so poorly of yourself.

6. So-and-so Wouldn’t Approve
Don’t push your dreams aside because your parents or husband wouldn’t approve of your decision. You’re living your own life. Your aim isn’t to please them. If they don’t like what you choose to do with your time, it’s their own problem. You can’t make everyone happy, so you might as well make yourself happy.
7. I’m Just a...
You’re not ‘just’ a kid. You’re not ‘just’ a girl. You’re a strong individual with hopes, dreams, and accomplishments. Don’t put yourself down. If someone tells you that you can’t do something, don’t prove them right. Prove them wrong.
You want to be successful, but are you willing to try? Your goals won’t accomplish themselves, so you’ll have to put in a lot of hard work if you want to see results. What’s your biggest goal in life?
