We all make extravagant resolutions for the New Year and we're all looking for ways to stick to your New Year's resolutions. We’ll be fitter, healthier and go to the gym at least once a day, right? By January 2nd we’re usually back on the sofa eating chocolate. Here are some tips for sticking with your commitment to be a better you with some of the best ways to stick to your New Year's resolutions.

1. Be Realistic about Your Goals

Let’s start at the beginning – set yourself realistic goals you know you can achieve. Walk before you can run, otherwise, you’ll fail and beat yourself up about it! That's one of the best ways to stick to your New Year's resolutions.

Mistakes happen – you need to accept that. We’re all busy humans. We have lives, relationships, jobs and other commitments. It’s understandable that you’ll miss one gym session or whatever your resolution is. Don’t give up after one mistake!
