As a personal coach, I am all about creating great change! The only thing constant in this world is change; therefore learning to accept and embrace change becomes very important. Change does not have to be scary and acknowledging that you always have choices empowers you to create the change you would like to show up in your life.
1. Believe in Yourself
You are an absolute gift. You are not mass-produced or created as a copy. You have special gifts, talents, and abilities that the world needs to know about! When you believe in yourself, other people become inspired and empowered to believe in themselves too.
2. Trust Your Own Knowing
You have an infinite knowing system you can choose to tap into at any time. You know that «gut feeling» you often get? It is no mistake! Your intuition is strong and listening to it allows it to grow even stronger.
3. Give up Judging Yourself
There is nothing wrong with you! Realize that how you look, how you feel, what you say, and what you want isn’t wrong. When you find yourself wanting to judge yourself imagine a big stop sign in front of you and tell yourself something great instead.
4. Dream BIG
When you dream big and visualize the life you would like to have, you create big change in your life. Your thoughts have power, this means that what you think about is important to how your life is. Positive thoughts will attract positivity and negative thoughts will attract negativity.
5. Be Comfortable Being Uncomfortable
Change is often uncomfortable. It is in the times when you feel like you don’t know what you are doing or where you are headed that great change is taking place. In order to create the change you would like, you must learn to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Remind yourself that the uncomfortable feeling is actually creating the result you desire.
6. Be Willing to Receive New Possibilities
When you decide you would like change, the next step is to receive the new possibilities that are being gifted to you. These possibilities probably won’t show up the way you expect they will, which means you need to be up for anything! This is a great time to practice listening to your gut feelings even if the possibility does not appear to make logical sense.
7. Embrace Your Difference
Your unique difference is important and valuable. Learn to address what you are great at and follow what makes your heart sing. You are exactly you for a reason.
8. Learn to Manage Your Fears
Fear is what we usually choose to hold us back. When you learn to manage your fears and move past them, far more possibilities come available. Next time you are feeling fearful ask yourself: Is this fear or excitement? You would be surprised how often you are actually just excited!
Creating change can be one of the most exciting times for personal development and growth. By realizing the gift and the difference that you are, change becomes a lot smoother. Your willingness to choose change begins the process in motion. Remember to stay positive, receive the new possibilities, and always trust your knowing. What are you ready to change?
