Never compare yourself to someone else. Each individual person is capable of different things. Instead of automatically assuming you’re inferior, think about the person you’re comparing yourself to. Is it a celebrity that always looks stunning or an older sibling who has a high paying job? Everyone is at a different point in their life, so it’s unfair to compare yourself to someone in a completely different situation.

Know that no one else is judging you as harshly as you’re judging yourself. If you’re worried that everyone thinks poorly of you, it’s just your imagination. Stop focusing on the negative and start thinking about the positive.

You can’t change who you are. You can only alter pieces of your personality and appearance in order to make yourself the best you that there is. Beyond that, you’re stuck being you for the rest of your days. That isn’t a bad thing! It’s a beautiful thing. You have your entire life to learn to love yourself, so it’s okay if it takes time for you to be comfortable with yourself.
