This’s such a simple piece of advice but a very important one. Many times you try on different identities in your adolescent years. Part of this’s because you’re still figuring out who you are. There’s a secret to this. If you relax and allow yourself to just be, you’ll find out exactly who you are.

If you want to really get to someone who’s hurt you and tried to cause problems in your life, you can do that. Because the best revenge is being happy. When you live your life and enjoy all the beautiful blessings that you have, it’ll get to your enemies. Most enemies would love nothing more than for you to lower yourself to their level and fight back. Rising above that and being happy within your life and within yourself will get to them more than anything else you could possibly do.

He’ll go along with whatever he has to in order to have you as his girl. It’s actually a good thing if you have a dad or an older brother that’s protective of you and let the boys you date know they’re expected to treat you right. Think of these things as good ways to screen out the ones who aren’t good enough.

It’s nice to be attractive and try to look your best. But more important than that is your inner beauty. Think about this for a moment. If you know someone who’s outwardly very pretty but not at all pretty on the inside, it detracts from their beauty, doesn’t it? On the flip side, those you know who have caring, compassionate hearts are more attractive because of it, wouldn’t you agree?
