Happy 2018 everybody! It's time to learn how to plan to have the best year ever. Now that the New Year’s hangovers are well and truly behind us, it might be time to start thinking about the twelve months ahead, and what sort of changes or resolutions you are hoping to make. January is the best time of the year to set out some goals and targets for the year ahead because it gives you the whole of 2018 to achieve them! However, it would be fair to say that some things are easier said than done, and sometimes it takes a special commitment and way of doing things to be successful. Luckily for you, I have some suggestions. Here are some ways for how to plan to have the best year ever in 2018.

1. Buy a Great Planner

My top tip for how to plan to have the best year ever is to get a day planner. If you’re serious about it, then you need a really high quality to put your plan into action! The more space you have, the more pages you have, the more extra features you have, it will all come together to provide you with a really motivational tool for progress throughout the year. You can even get one that encourages everything from a daily meal plan to tracking how much water you have drunk that day!

2. Ten Things to Change

A great way to start off is by writing down ten things that you want to change in your life this year. These should be a mixture of smaller and bigger things because you don’t want to create an air of negativity by listing ten things that are wildly unachievable. Stick it on your fridge or another place where you will see it every single day.

3. Happy List

Look back at 2017 and make a list of all of the things that made you most happy. Next to this, make a list of things that you are looking forward to in 2018. Having these two things together in your planner will act as motivation when you are feeling low over the course of the next twelve months.
