7 Advantages of Being Nice to Other People That You Must Always Consider ...

What are the advantages of being nice? Some might say that there actually aren’t any advantages and that it would be better to just take care of your own needs without thinking about the people around. I know, I know, everybody feels like this from time to time. But we must not let some vicious actions of certain people affect our behavior, because even if sometimes you might not believe it, there are a lot of wonderful advantages of being nice to other people that you must always consider.

1. A Lot of Friends

In my opinion, one of the most important advantages of being nice to other people is the fact that you’ll never feel alone ‘cause you’ll always be surrounded by a lot of friends. Everyone would like to have a polite, gentle, caring person as his or her best friend. I know I would… So, don’t let some rude and mean people get you down. Just be yourself, be nice to the ones around you and you’ll see that the right people will appreciate it.

2. You’ll Always Get Help

(Your reaction) Thank you!

By being nice all the time you’ll surely be appreciated more for who you are, for the way you behave in spite of all the other stuff that may discourage you. People will acknowledge your genuine nature and because they’ll want to repay you for making them feel so fantastic, they will always be there for you, willing to help you whenever you may need them to. So, be always nice to other people ‘cause you’ll never know when you may need their help.

3. Feel Good about Yourself

(Your reaction) Thank you!

I don’t know about you, but I always feel good about myself whenever I’m being nice to someone. I like making another person feel appreciated, respected and accepted for who she truly is. People tend to be so judgmental these days; everyone has something mean to say about someone, even if they don’t even know that person. Be different, be nice and you’ll see how good you’ll feel about yourself!

4. Boost Your Self-confidence

(Your reaction) Thank you!

Being nice to other people is definitely one of the easiest ways to boost your self-confidence. By being polite and caring other people will appreciate you for the wonderful person that you are and this surely will make your self-confidence go through the roof. You’ll have even more trust in your own strengths and qualities and you’ll make other people happy too.

5. Test Your Limits

(Your reaction) Thank you!

I’m sure that everyone knows how hard it is sometimes to be nice to certain people. Don’t think that because they behave in a kind of rude manner they don’t deserve to be treated with respect. This is the perfect time to test your limits and exercise your ability to be patient. Look at this situation like you have to take some important test and of course, try to get the biggest grade possible. You’ll feel so good about yourself once you’ll realize you’ve successfully exceeded your limits.

6. A Great Mental Health

(Your reaction) Thank you!

Being nice has some awesome perks! I’m not sure if you already knew this, but by behaving in a nice, polite manner you could significantly improve the quality of your mental health. You’ll be more relaxed, more detached, you won’t pay attention to all the little annoying things around you and you’ll be able to enjoy life at its fullest. Being nice is so rewarding! I’m sure you’ll agree with me on this one.

7. Respect Yourself

(Your reaction) Thank you!

What other way to respect yourself could bring you more satisfactions than being nice to the people around you? The right people will appreciate your efforts and this could only boost your self-respect. Never forget to treat others the way you want to be treated!

Being nice has its own advantages and of course, disadvantages, but I’m quite sure that it’s more rewarding to be a nice, polite, decent person, always willing to help the ones around you because this type of behavior will only bring you a lot of satisfactions. Do you agree with me? Must we always be nice to other people? What other advantages of being nice do you know? Do tell!
