7. Ride out Your Bad Mood

There are days when no matter what you do, you just can’t seem to change your bad mood.

The psychotherapist Ashley Eder, says that when that happens to you, just “Acknowledge it, befriend it, and wait,” and “Give yourself permission to make yourself comfortable, whether that means watching old episodes of Gossip Girl, playing Angry Birds, or by taking a nap,”.

Being in a bad mood is never fun, but you don’t always have to understand why you are in a bad mood to change it.
